Giorgos Zoumpeklis is a debt restructuring and financial advisor and the founder of My Econs Partners, with more than 26 years of experience in finance. He holds a degree in Finance from the University of West Attica and is a Certified Class A Accountant and a Certified Mediator accredited by the Hellenic Ministry of Justice. He spent 23 years in senior roles in maritime finance, managing loan agreements, banking relationships and complex negotiations within a listed company.

Today he helps individuals and small and medium-sized businesses with debt restructuring, the out-of-court debt settlement mechanism (Law 4738/2020) and negotiations with banks and servicers, aiming for realistic and sustainable solutions. As a Certified Debt Restructuring Expert and SME Early Warning Mentor (ISO/IEC 17024), he combines technical expertise with hands-on negotiation skills. He has strengthened these skills through the Certificate in Negotiations from the Athens University of Economics and Business (graded Excellent).

He is also developing ESG advisory services for SMEs, hospitality businesses and shipping companies. He holds the GSTC Professional Certificate in Sustainable Tourism and the EU Climate Action Academy Certificate from the European Commission.

His approach is defined by strategic thinking, reliability and composed negotiation, grounded in a deep understanding of how creditors operate.
